What this analysis keeps
Last updated 21 October 2026 · consent wording version intake-consent-v3
What we collect
Your questionnaire answers (name, country and city, work, education, the job you want, your goal), your resume (the pasted text, or the PDF, DOCX or TXT file), and the score and findings made from them. The findings include lines quoted from your resume. If you create an account: your email address, your name, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), and profile details. Our servers also keep technical logs of requests, such as time, page, result and network address, and a record of administrator actions. We do not write resume text to the logs.
How it is used
Software on our server reads your resume to produce your summary. The text is not sent to any other service. It is not shown to other users, not used to benchmark anyone else, and not used for advertising. The site loads no analytics or advertising scripts.
Who can open it
Anyone who has your private link can open your summary: your answers, the findings with the lines quoted from your resume, and the name and size of your resume file. They cannot read the resume itself, so keep the link to yourself. Mentra administrators can open everything you submitted, including the resume text, download your resume, and delete the submission. Their views, downloads and deletions are logged with their account. If you save a report to your account, you can open it from your workspace. Nobody else can.
Accounts
An account is optional. It is created from the sign-up page, not by submitting the questionnaire. When you save a report to your account, the account's profile is filled with some of your answers: name, location, current role, years of experience, education, and the target role, industry, market and work preferences. Your resume text is not copied. You can edit the profile. There is no password reset and no email verification yet, because Mentra does not send email: if you lose your password, the account cannot be recovered.
How long we keep it
A submission (answers, resume and report) is deleted automatically 30 days after you create it. The cleanup runs once a day, so deletion can take up to a day longer, and longer if the service is down at that moment. A report saved to your account is deleted at the same time. Your account and profile are kept until you delete the account.
Deleting sooner
You can delete a submission at any time from its summary page, using your private link, or from your workspace if it is saved to your account. You can delete your whole account from the Account page, with your password. That removes the account, its profile, its sign-in sessions and every report saved to it. Administrators can also delete submissions.
On your device
We set no cookies. The site keeps your theme choice in your browser's local storage. While you fill in the questionnaire, or while you are signed in, your browser's session storage holds your draft answers (not the resume text), your report's private key and your sign-in key. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab.
